 Riverhouse Condos are one of Grand Rapids’ most visible, new construction condo projects downtown, located at 335 Bridge St. It’s a great addition to the downtown Grand Rapids condo scene and it’s been hard to miss the giant cranes and the huge high-rise slowly going up over the last year. Not to mention the tall, blue-glass windows that cover the exterior, or that it is alongside the US 131 highway, or that it is along the banks of the Grand River, or that it is the tallest condo in town! It stands out. River House condo is also right across the street from the Gerald R Ford Museum, Ah Nab Awen Park and the best place in town to watch Grand Rapids’ July 4th Celebration.

The views from the inside of these condos are really spectacular! I was showing some of the completed units this week and in each one you get the same ‘wow’ factor. The windows are what make this building unique. Each River House Condo has floor to ceiling windows in the living areas and bedrooms. The windows block UV while allowing lots of light from any side of the building and the views of the Grand River, The Grand Rapids Medical Mile and Downtown Grand Rapids are stunning. One look that I didn’t expect but thoroughly enjoyed was that of the highway at night. Very relaxing but with the 1.5 inch thick glass, it is very quiet.

 River House condominiums offer their owners tastefully appointed common area with flat screens and comfortable seating areas. There is a space that can be reserved for events and parties which has a kitchen area and flat screen TV.  The building has excellent security, private entry and each condo has 2 covered parking spaces and it’s own private deck. A state of the art fitness center is included with free weights and machines and the pool/hot tub area is near completion.

There are ten unique floorplans to choose from ranging from 1-bedroom, 915 sq/ft to 3 bedrooms, 1891 sq/ft and all ceilings are a minimum of 9 feet. River House also have Penthouse condos available with a massive 4600 sq/ft of living space. Association fees are reasonable if you factor in everything you are getting. The condos have hardwood floors with Granite counters and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. Each condo has a washer/dryer unit as well. I will update the prices at a later date when the new ones are introduced but you should plan on about $225 to $255 per square foot.

Grand Rapids is a city that has a huge potential. River House condos overlook the Medical Mile and there are alot of jobs that will be created from that project. As far as entertainment, there is Devos Performance Hall, the Amway Grand Plaza, the Van Andel Arena, the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre, many clubs and bars, quiet coffee shops and fantastic restaurants to enjoy. Commuting to and from the West Michigan Lakeshore is easy and you are 45 minutes away from the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan.
